The Bar Breeze, as you can see from these three pictures, has been transformed in to what I personally refer to as an 'Ikea' pub. This is not meant to be detrimental comment but rather reflects the taste of the time and the clientele.

Although it's situated in the west of the town,  it's a great place to meet up and start the evening as we found out ourselves recently. (June 2011).

Originally the Boat & Anchor and then Paiges Bar . In the 60's it was an ice cream parlour and coffee bar run by an Italian family.

A total make-over by the current owner has transformed this sea front bar into a modern meeting place with the benefit of a southerly view over the channel from its own veranda.
